anotheranon | short weekend review

Pro: did a bit of sewing, finishing D.'s armband-thing, making some headway on the long-set aside pirate coat, and repairing my fencing jacket.

Con: Sewing machine cannot/will not do heavy duty industrial sewing - I did about half of this by hand.

Pro: Finished homework.

Con: By the skin of my teeth (next section starts tomorrow), and I didn't understand the last half of it :(

Pro: Finally able to download all the materials I needed for this part of the course, including basic calculator instructions.

Con: Wish I'd realized that I didn't have everything before now, because I thought I was going crazy, doing problems for which I had no background at all, and flailing blindly with the calculator emulator

Pro: cold is almost over, minus some stuffiness

Con: Back to work tomorrow.

Overall theme: I wish I knew how to do more things, as I foresee a week in which I'm going to expend a lot of energy being frustrated because I can't figure out some nested "if" statements and my next homework module :(

Seriously, the weekend wasn't THAT crap but I hate feeling stupid/powerless in my stupidity beyond any other feeling in the universe.
