It was a good one, a busy one, but a good one.

Most of the day Saturday was spent at a local leather workshop series (writeup earlier on if you're filtered in). On the way to and the way back, we got repeatedly lost in the varying loops around the city, so by the time we got in D. and I were both tired and hungry. Baja Fresh, it was.

I think part of the reason I ordered out so much this week was that I was getting sick of our usual lamb stew recipes. Not that they're bad, but having them every week for months on end was getting a little old. So the grocery list for this week included ingredients for brunswick stew, turkey burgers, and pork loin. Somehow, vindaloo hasn't gotten old yet, at least not for me :P

I took a roundabout drive to the grocery because it was so beautiful today - not a cloud in the sky, gorgeous flame-red leaves and 70F - all the prettiness of the season with none of the chill :) I know it won't last, but while it's here, I'll take it!

Food: My appetite is varying. My sweet tooth is still on the descendant, except for chocolate hazelnut cocoa and dark chocolate in small quantities. It also seems like it takes a lot less to fill me up.

Supplemental: I started a new amino acid provided by [livejournal.com profile] nminusone that is designed to smooth out some of my more manic edges; no noticeable effect as of yet. Well, I seem a bit less wired tonight, but it's too early to tell.

Exercise: still not getting as much cardio as I should, but I did go a furious 20 minutes on the exercise bike today. My legs are getting bigger from the squats, to the point that my jeans are a bit tight and I can see a little muscle "dimple" when I flex my thigh, woohoo!

Hormonal: perhaps covered in a girly post later - minor changes, some I'm neutral about, some I'm annoyed at.

Sewing: still plowing away on the pirate coat; I've reached a trim section that requires hand sewing and is as such going slowly. I got fabric (outdoor nylon) for the armband/wallet D. suggested and cut out.

Reading: again, not as much as I'd like, but I'm enjoying it. For some reason I can't put The Mothman Prophecies down - it's allegedly factual but reads like eerie science fiction, "Amityville in Mayberry" style. The Men in Black "characters" (no, not the cheesy Will Smith version) are good inspiration for some of my writing, at any rate.

For some reason this has seemed like the longest evening ever, and I've been glancing at the clock constantly because I keep thinking it ought to be later than it is. Going to get in bed early and read because.. well, it should have been 10:30 an hour ago, if not more :/

40mg is diddly squat, if you'll pardon my French. It's still better safe than sorry, but I'll be surprised if you notice any effects until you work up to the 250mg-500mg range. Everyone is a bit different, though, so I can't say for sure. Good luck! (I'll reply to your other email separately.)
