On top of whatever else is going on, I think I have a UTI, and this one won't go away on it's own. My kidneys feel like someone is stepping on them - in very soft, lightweight shoes, but stepping, nonetheless :(
I've got too many active things coming up in the next few days to let this slow me down, so I'm heading to the doc today. Also getting flu shot today, supplies permitting.
I'm coming to the realization that I need to expand my vocal vocabulary. Between my overwhelming urges to drawl "Duuuuuuuuude..." and absurd ability to spout movie lines, I'm starting to sound like a cross between Bill and Ted and Sick Boy from "Trainspotting". But I don't think they have a pill for that :P

Date: 2005-10-20 03:42 am (UTC)And blanking on vocabulary is astonishingly frequent with many people. Usually when you're looking for that *particular* word is when it vanishes!

Date: 2005-10-21 03:42 am (UTC)It's especially startling when the word appears on your tongue in French and not English, and you don't even remember that you *knew* that word in French, but dammit, you wanted the English one!
Oh, wait... that's just my "normal". Nevermind. :p
