Sure, it means that the really sucky tv now lacks 30 more useless seconds, but at what point do commercials remove so much of the original show that the show's advertising potential drops because no one is watching the show.. because of too many ads?
Seems like the networks will ultimately shoot themselves in the feet with this one...
