custom mods, X-Men style

Inspired by a post over at misia's:

If you could have any modifications to your basic body, what would they be?

I don't mean the usual "lose 10 pounds", "have whiter teeth", etc. I mean something beyond the realm of current medical science.

Me, I'd want voluntary fertility and brain backup capability. And retractable razor claws, like Molly in "Neuromancer", just 'cos they're kewl :P

The ability to breathe underwater, definitely. + nictating membranes so I could see underwater as well, and the ability to process nitrogen and avoid those inconvenient bends. I want the ability to change sex at will, a six-octave vocal range & a good voice to go with it, and, of course, razor claws.

I'd like the ability to adjust my vision from macroscopic to microscopic. Can you imagine studying bacillae and distant galaxies without any equipment? Le sigh. Plus, I'd want to expand vision into the infrared & ultraviolet ranges. And I want hair that changes color according to the weather, my own organic barometer.

I want a cat's ability to leap five times my own height and balance on a dime. I want my brain to be able to multitask, TRULY multitask, which currently humans can't do. I want to be able to regrow limbs, reabsorb a fetus back into my body like a rabbit if I don't want it, and lick my elbow with my tongue. Oh--add a couple of eyes at the back of my head. 360 degree vision would not suck. Reactive skin pigmentation, and, of course, a body that kills cancers before they kill me.
