I finished the bulk of my second lab last night - I think. I need to go through it one more time to make sure it meets all the requirements. Probably does, and then some - I ended up experimenting with various queries.

Got my midterm grade a couple of weeks ago - a C, but a high one. I've got solid As on all other work so if I do well on the exam I think I can bring the whole class up to a B.

One week (really, a couple of days) left of coursework and then I start studying for the exam.

My brain has been pounding along like a piston engine - hope it can keep up!

I appreciate it and will keep it in mind for fall semester. I decided to drop College Algebra for 2nd summer session. Information was coming at me too fast. I suck at math, so figured I wait. Of course, Semmie has given me a ton of reading to do in preparation for grad school, so I can't say I'm bored!! :)

Another non-math-oriented person - I sympathize :/ I'm wondering whether I can take a calculus class (undergrad level - I never took it "back then") and still manage another grad class (on research methods).

What has Semmie assigned you, and when do you start grad school?

I like how you said assigned. :) She's given me a bunch of stuff on literary criticism, primary texts I haven't read yet, and the like. I won't start grad school until next fall. I have some catching up to do, though, since most of my English classes were taken in the early 90's. (English major)

You'll do great, I'm sure. It takes time to get the brain re-wired for grad school -- first semester grades usually are less than you like. Kudos!
