AIDS and Africa

Many have written on the subject, but this post is by a friend of mine who worked with pediatric AIDS patients for a year in Tanzania, so I'm biased towards her interpretation. Read it, it's good.

Her interpretation tracks perfectly with everything else I've read about AIDS (and other sexually-transmitted diseases) in Africa. So many taboos and customs to overcome ... :-(
