Jan. 13th, 2002 10:32 pmSpent more time on my back today. My injury seems to have gotten better to a point and then plateaued - I can do most exercise without pain now but cannot lunge, so I am still useless for fencing. Did one hot pack and one cold pack today.. time for another hot pack combined with Icy Hot/Aleve. Dammit.
The cats frolicked much today with a shopping bag I left out for them. They LOVE those things. I don't know why I ever got them the cat spa when they are so much more amused by everyday objects.
Still trying valiantly to throw out/clean up/get rid of clutter. This place is never going to be "Better Homes and Gardens"-friendly, but the recovery of flat places is a start.
I'm starting to see the benefits of the Style network being added to basic service. "Runway" features only a couple of designers per show and shows more clothes, less commentary. There's another one that I'm going to try to get on Replay that seems like its going to be less about trends and more about (dare I to dream?) fashion in the context of social history.
Having said this, lemme say just how much I love Replay TV (or Tivo, or whatever service you've got). I try and watch less tv and this sure helps separate the wheat from the chaff - I never channel surf anymore.
Blah. Time to bed. Need to be well rested for tomorrow - filming and avoiding "backseat directors".
