never could get the hang of Mondays...

My coffee was weak as water this morning. It took a few swallows to figure out that I'd forgotten to refill the grounds and had generated a pot using yesterdays dregs(!) New pot now done, but it shouldn't have taken me that long to figure out what was wrong :P

Eye candy: Whilst slinking around LJ this morning I found a link to My Lady's Wardrobe, pictures and dress diaries from a Kentwell re-enactor - I'm told they have very high standards, and as far as I can tell these costumes certainly meet them!

Coffee the way Grandma used to make it! (according to my mother, my paternal grandmother ... her mother-in-law ... only replaced the grounds with fresh ones on Sundays ***grin***)

Since Grandma drank tea, rather than coffee, and I'm pretty sure she was a sociopath (my father was quite adamant that we were NEVER be left alone with her when we were little), I doubt that she cared, one way or the other, whether it gave a jolt or even tasted good. :p
