Mother Nature is a b!tch
Jan. 9th, 2002 12:24 pmGot up this morning to go to work - late, unfortunately, as my alarm didn't seem to go off.
As I walked casually down the stairs I slipped and skidded to the bottom - what looked like rain turned out to be ICE.
So I initiated my own Weather Emergency Plan (i.e., stayed home from work - like hell I'm going to drive if I can't even get out my own front door) and lay around with alternating ice and heat because I landed squarely on my tailbone.
I have changed. Normally I'd be irritated because I hurt. Now I'm irritated because I hurt and because I am determined be able to go to the first fencing class of the quarter tomorrow.
