tales from the fabric stash

Cleaning off my ironing board and finding more suitable storage for some of my fabrics is forcing me to reckon - just what do I want to do with this stuff?
Thoughtful suggestions will be considered. I've been hanging onto this stuff for some reason, just wish I could actually think of one!
- Teal green linen canvas (around 4-6 yards): originally got this ~3 years ago for a kirtle; then learned that kirtles are appropriately made out of wool. Now not sure whether it wants to be a farthingale, an arming doublet, something else, or just go back to the original kirtle plan.
- white china silk (~ 6 yards) - purchased at an Indian fabric store during Costume Con last year for the sinfully good price of $2/yd; originally thought I might make some chemises but I don't want to sully good silk by wearing it next to the skin! Partlet and matching sleeves? Maybe.. maybe a white Regency gown (would definitely need some sort of petticoat under it - awfully sheer).

If you can find that link I'd be very interested!
