Came across this in my morning news-reading ... an Orwellian extension to the rant above. This is TRUE non-control of one's own reproductive rights/body.

Between reading THAT story and the one about the Pakistani court overturning the convictions of men who had gang raped a woman in their village (see it here), I wasn't in the greatest of moods yesterday. Along with the anger I was feeling, they both reinforced how lucky we really are, having our existing rights in our respective countries, and how VITAL it is that we make sure that we don't lose even one of them, because if those losses ever start to snowball, those stories are a taste of where we could end up.
