[livejournal.com profile] shemhazai was in town for the long weekend, and we painted the town red. Well, pink - not much in the way of late night partying, but lots of museuming, shopping, wandering around, and many fine conversations too detailed and circuitious to relate.

I am reminded that I'm a very lucky person to have such cool friends in my life, people with whom I really "click" and enjoy their company :)

Monday afternoon I finally got back to regular business, retrieving my online class info and logging into my library orientation course - required and the only thing I can really take before summer semester.

If I fall silent in the next few weeks, it's because I'm sorting out how to best manage my time to do my classwork and still do my Normal Stuff(TM) as well.

Hard to believe, but library databases are actually easier than Google, mainly because they use a controlled vocabulary as part of their indexing (you're using a "controlled vocabulary" every time you do a subject search at your local library). :-)))
