a very good weekend :)

shemhazai was in town for the long weekend, and we painted the town red. Well, pink - not much in the way of late night partying, but lots of museuming, shopping, wandering around, and many fine conversations too detailed and circuitious to relate.

I am reminded that I'm a very lucky person to have such cool friends in my life, people with whom I really "click" and enjoy their company :)

Monday afternoon I finally got back to regular business, retrieving my online class info and logging into my library orientation course - required and the only thing I can really take before summer semester.

If I fall silent in the next few weeks, it's because I'm sorting out how to best manage my time to do my classwork and still do my Normal Stuff(TM) as well.

Well into Day One of doing homework, and I've found the following helps:

1) Turn off email
2) Log out of Livejournal
3) Minimize web-based groups

Seriously, the above are just too, too good at stealing eyeballs away from my course materials!
