Seems like sociologists and advertisers want to keep people in their "adolescent" years well into their 20s.
Interesting article about what defines adulthood - something I contemplated awhile back, at length, before LJ crashed and erased the whole thing.
I've heard arguments elsewhere that part of the reason folks take so long to "grow up" is because we have no defined rituals to celebrate adulthood anymore.
Food for thought, anyway.
