I'm melting, I'm melting!

No, not really, but a few things in our basement did - a bag of cat litter (unused, thank yew verra much - but still a pill to clean up) and a laundry bag full of fabric scraps. I need to go through the latter and see what, if anything, is salvageable. If it's gone for good, I promised D. I'll throw it away - I might wind up short of fabric, but have some more floor space.

I finally got to take a shower after jury duty today and feel substantially less greasy and scungy than I did, though not perfect. I'm drinking water like crazy in an attempt to clean out my skin, which has chosen to trainwreck in earnest in the past 2 days.

Did some writing, did some web work, now off to gird myself with latex gloves and play :P

I'm really tempted to go with, although I gotta say that the prospect of being in Silver Spring by 9 AM is daunting. =)

I strongly recommend going, even if it does mean getting up early - RN knows her stuff!

And I'm sure they'd let you bring a thermos of coffee, if there's a stove etc. on site...
