the purging of the cat hair
Jul. 5th, 2004 11:08 pmI continued my cleaning jag today. D. removed most of the built-up cat hair from our various blankets and throws (forget knitting a new cat - I think we could get a whole litter!) and these are currently washing/drying as we speak. Kisia was rather disturbed by the temporarly loss of her favorite "seat", but she coped. What a trooper ;)
geekchick and I exchanged books and had coffee (evil dark Starbucks javaaah [maniacal laughter]!). The sky fell out just as I was driving home, but this was a good thing, as Proper Summer Weather has finally arrived and it was absolutely infernal in my car until the rain came pouring down.
Got home, lifted dumbells, sweated some more. Showers after prolonged overheating/exertion are beyond sublime, and this one was no different :)
Re-started "Plan of Attack" and washed more cat hair covered items. I think I can see the guest room bedspread now, but I am covered in fur and inhaled so much that I may be working on a furball of my very own :P Gack, gack gack....
I should probably try to sleep as I have that "work thing" tomorrow.
