In all my research on Adam Ant's hussar jacket, I completely neglected to check my pop culture books. I found a decent picture of the front in Rock Fashion; still no help for the back but I can clearly see the pattern of braid on the sleeves. Score!

In this case, a bleeding obvious source that should have been the first place I checked. Gee, Rock Fashion - there wouldn't be ANYTHING in there regarding early 80's stage costumes would there?! :P

Also found some good pictures of Jimi Hendrix in his band jacket - gives me some more ideas re: braid application.

***snickers*** Gee, I was thinking the same about myself and "The HollyWood History of the World" ... usually one of the first places I'll check for a visual, because it pairs both contemporary paintings/portraits/photos and stills from historical films.
