Friday Obscurity: Desktop Trebuchet

In case you ever need one, you know. Because couldn't we all use a good trebuchet from time to time, to hurl rubber erasers and spitwards over the ramparts of our cubicles towards thy offending co-workers on the other side? (Stolen from Fark.com)

WANT! Actually, I've been dropping repeated hints about the 5-foot scale treb for sale online to Mr. Dearest, but he hasn't gotten it for me yet.

Must make one of my own. Even if it doesn't have the same knee-weakening effect of a telephone pole wooshing by one's ear...

Dearest doesn't realize the value of having your own 5' trebuchet?? I thought he was into all things military.

Maybe if he sees how impressively this one can fling, say, a paperclip from a desk, he'll be sufficiently "wowed" to get the larger, scarier version :)
