anotheranon | a productive (!) day

True to my word, I avoided the computer most of the day and got a great deal done on the pink thing: Pinned, basted, gathered and at last attached the skirt. This was the largest part, the dress is very close to finished now! Must try on (again!) with underpinnings to hem.

I received my spare car mirror yesterday and my friend C. came by today to install it, which was very kind of him as none of us really knew how it was supposed to "go"! It is matte black and so doesn't match the rest of my car, but I've been long overdue for some paint touchups so I figure one of these days I'll get everything done at once. In the meantime, I've got a firmly attached mirror and so better visibility/safety and less likelihood of getting pulled over!

I even managed to write a little, and was going to do a little silly nothing, but my eyes itch from repeated exposure to pink fuzzles and it is late as it is.

Might fence tomorrow, if I feel like it's worth an hour's drive to MASHS alternate site. If not, going to keep going on the dress and do research for the turban - seems a shame to stop when I'm on a roll!
