etc., etc., etc....
Jan. 2nd, 2004 10:53 pmQuiet day back at work. This worked out well as I'm rather sore-throaty/muscle achey and didn't feel up to anything urgent.
D. has moved my account to a new (non-Exchange!) mail server, so hopefully any bounced mails, missed mails, or other problems will be resolved with this solution. His own mail should also be working again, if anyone's been trying to contact him.
Have spent the evening sewing eyelets, which is VERY hard on the hands and wrists, so, of course, I'm taking a break typing and browsing the web :P Findings:
Desert Torch Tailoring - fine Renaissance gear for the whole family, and some of the best men's garb I've seen online. Guys with good legs look GREAT in trunk hose; D. will surely fall prey to my first experiments in men's Elizabethan once my funds allow ;)

geekchick, who got it from
mollyringwraith: LOTR parodies for The Two Towers and Return of the King. Edited highlights:
SAM: It's a shame. Now I'll never get to marry Rosie Cotton.
FRODO: (startled) YOU want to marry a girl? Really?
LEGOLAS: I didn't mean that.
ARAGORN: It's okay. Me neither.
LEGOLAS: Kiss and make up?
ARAGORN: How about I squeeze your shoulder in a very special way? (Speaking of which, ROTK is rife with lingering glances and hugs that lasted just a bit too long. I am assured that this is not just me, as the Subtext Police seem to have picked up on it :P)
Plans for the weekend: steaming the other half of the basement and going through my writing lists to find my place and possibly even write something (shock, horror!) Also will fence rapier Sunday if I don't feel worse.
