Not an enormously great day. I did a lot of cleaning, and where there's the satisfaction of things looking nice I take no additional joy in housework, especially as there is still dust in my eyes and nose that the shower couldn't eradicate.

It was also VERY cold and windy today, so I had to pull out my bulkier winter clothing. Not like I go around thinking I'm all that the rest of the time, but there's something about wearing shapeless polarfleece while itching from dust and cat hair that makes one feel distinctly un-hot :P

Did some hand sewing on the stays while watching "Elizabeth R" until I could take no more needle pricks or flowery Elizabethan flirtation.

Curiously, I am not tired. If anything, I wish I could just get in my car and drive to... somewhere. My fantasy of me, a cabin, and a bag of books rears it's head again, just when I can't have it :(

I'll live, and this is a temporary blip - if you've read this far, thanks for reading - I try not to use this journal solely as a place to complain but these things sometimes have to go somewhere :/
