My email box revealed the goodie that Lip Service is re-issuing their "classic" dagger print line!

This tickled me to pieces because I remember lusting after the original run when I was a 14 year old with minimal pocket money, and being delighted that finally swank* gear like this and this were finally within reach (actually, scratch that last one - I need another hoodie like a hole in my head :P)

Then I realized:

• I'm old enough to see trends from my youth coming around again
  
• Said trends are old enough to be called "classic"
  

Ever feel a white hair at the moment it sprouts? Damn....

And on top of this, I'm working on the pastel pink (pastel! the humanity!) Regency stays in the basement. Times they are a' changin'!

Daily Addendum: went and voted in local elections. They're STILL using Diebold out here. Grrr....


*Yeah, I know it's poorly made, and 20 years on it's mall-rat gear. Don't care - call it nostalgia :P

Diebold, eh? Didja know that Diebold's world headquarters is in none other than my home town? If you make it here in September we will go right by it when I pick you up at the airport. We can lean out our car window and go "pllllppppttthhh!!!" at the building.

Reality check: I'm no expert on computer security, so I forwarded the original article to D. (who IS an expert) for his take. Conclusions: it's bad, extraordinarily bad!
