anotheranonMy misty vision seems to have gone away. My eyes itch a little, but that could be anything. Hope I'm back in contacts by the weekend - my glasses give me a little headache because they are a slightly older prescription and I still have to strain to see details on street signs, license plates, etc. (don't worry! I'm safe on the road, I'm not that blind). It does concern me that my eyedrops did not seem to reach my eye through my contacts; I thought they were supposed to be porous!
I was going to dress in Tudor garb for Halloween, but after I got home the whole compromised sight thing got on my nerves enough so that I didn't want to compromise mobility as well (yes, I have heard the lecture "if your garb isn't comfortable, you're not doing it right" but it doesn't really acknowledge the fact that loose black silk pyjamas are ALWAYS more comfortable than anything else. That, and the drapey sleeves drag through everything). I did end up putting on a discontinued Sephora blue-black lipstick, and it made me look appropriately pale and odd.
D. was in his Mongol garb - I was surprised that he suggested dressing up when it is usually not his style. I felt bad that I didn't feel like going along with him.
We got lots of trick or treaters but were still unable to unload all of our candy - I'll need to foist some off on co-workers before we dig into the unopened bags.
