anotheranonI've had a sore throat and headache all day. I can't figure out whether this is due to the current lousy air quality, yesterday's dusting binge, or whether I'm genuinely getting a cold. Scarfed some echinacea and Smokeshield and will see what happens.
Work did not go to hell while I was gone, but it did get busy and the communication process lagged out. Mostly back under control now.
Other weekend stuff - cleaned like a maniac and continued reading "Collapse of the Third Republic". D. and I met up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
geekchick and friends for Mexican food on Saturday. I'd not seen my friends in I don't know how long - I wish we weren't all so busy all the time!
Caught up on Daily Kos and ran across their article about the possibility that gay rights might become a presidential campaign issue. Personally, I don't think even the most daring Democratic candidate will touch the issue with a 10 foot pole, but I would hope that the current Supreme Court ruling provides a basis for a rational debate on the subject.
For this week - do some web work, read a bit more, sort out some writing, and hopefully sew a bit. I cut out the 2nd layer for the corset; I just need to assemble it.
