my right glute
May. 20th, 2009 06:48 pmIt is the bane of my existence, it is. Grueling group lesson last night would not have been quite so demanding if my right hip and backside would get - and stay - online.
It's not pain, it's just weakness - this particular muscle cluster wears out long before the rest of me does and I can't keep my balance!
Same deal with my knees, though not as bad. They're singing backup for my side.
I need to do the exercises Badger recommended but time them correctly - done heavily the day before a practice I'm even weaker :(
I think I need to start with less weight/resistance and/or fewer reps than I started with, and work my way up.
But it's annoying as all hell.
