English fitted gown - progress report

I've been diligently working away on this and am very pleased with the results so far. This one has some interesting design details, so I thought I'd include some pre-assembly pix as well:

Depending on final results I may guard the front opening and hem with velvet; I'm going to close it with hooks and eyes.
