how come it never goes smooth?
Aug. 14th, 2006 09:42 pmHad to take my car out to the body shop because the driver-side window refused to roll back up - again. I swear, if I don't get out and about during the week more often, this is why: the little nit-picky stuff that comes up that for one reason or another simply cannot wait. Sometimes you just want to come home and be done with the day, you know?
In other miscellanea: I remember posting about a feminist sci-fi carnival some time ago, and evidently it was QUITE some time ago because there have been three already. Don't know when/if I'll have time to read them myself, but don't let it stop you.
I am sewing again [happy dance]! The doublet sleeves are assembled and in the process of being set. Then I cut out the outer layer and tabs.
I am also exercising regularly again - with company for most of the month it was difficult to keep up but I am somehow managing to lift the 15lb dumbells over my head without shaking, and that's unusual enough that I consider it a triumph (And I can do 40 pushups! From toes! [preen] :)
While lifting, I've also started season 2 of "Deadwood". If Al Swearengen is to be believed, everyone is still a c*cks*ck*er :P
