coming out mostly on top
Mar. 30th, 2006 10:07 pmFor the past week or so, I've been out of sorts, for a variety of reasons. Not awful, just kind of irritable and down and not-on-target.
Today I seem to be bubbling back up with a vengeance, and I think it has to do with the weather. The windows are open, there's a warm breeze, and the trees are covered in fine green (or flowery, respectively) mists. Saturday the time changes, which is IMHO the real "first day of spring", and I'm almost bouncy about it! It's looking to be a beautiful weekend, hopefully full of reading, sewing, and even some socializing (!)
My only solid bugbear is my homework - amortization = very difficult and the online classroom is curiously silent, leaving me with the insecure feeling that everyone did it last week and it made perfect sense, leaving holding the Big Bag of Dim :/
Groovy happy PLURry linkitude: the common roots of house and hip-hop - well, duh! And this MIT prof has found a way to attach sensors to the body in order to control music - pretty kewl.
So... looks like I have a bit more work ahead of me, but overall I'm feeling pretty damn good [crosses fingers hoping it stays that way]. Hence the icon :P
