Not sure if I'm making this one yet, but I'm definitely keeping it in mind...

Shiny Thing: Goldwork Embroidery

Berlin Embroidery Designs: sells kits, also does classes around North America and online. I'm no expert on embroidery, but she spent 3 years at the Royal School of Needlework, and I'm fairly sure they're supposed to be handy with a needle.

I enjoy looking at the goldwork - luxe, heavy, pretty. Imagining it on purple or red velvet. Thank doG I don't have an excuse for that right now!
