tales from the kitchen: Grand Marnier + coffee

Found another good coffee additive :)

Where whiskey is velvety and Bailey's is creamy, Grand Marnier is like a fine, satiny silk - achingly smooth and helps deliver pure unadulterated Bean flavor to the tongue - much recommended :)

The taste is familiar; I think Godiva puts this in some of it's chocolate fillers. jlsjlsjls recommends G.M. with hot chocolate, if I'm right I can definitely see why!

pretty shiny girly things

Sending y'all over to geekchick's to see her massive lingerie/corsets/stockings link dump. I'm especially enamored of the silk stockings as 1) I didn't know of any vendors who still made such things!! and 2) I cannot, CANNOT make them for myself!

I swear, I should have a "corset workshop" or some such, as I know so many people who love them :P It would be the one-eyed leading the blind, but even so..
