Jul. 6th, 2005 07:16 pmGot my haircut today, after suffering through the long weekend with my hair pushing down my ears - it was even getting a bit mullety back there :( Attempts to train new hairstylist have failed (she was a bit timid with the shears), but another stylist in the salon does a very good job, and now that I'm no longer making car payments I can afford her!
Aforementioned salon has a very good sound system, so I was surprised when I heard a track that sounded like either Siouxsie Sioux underwater or Neil Tennant in a tin can. After much straining, I'm pretty sure it was Bono (!) Moral of this anecdote: wear your earplugs when you go out.
If I go silent it's because we're expecting the remnants of Hurricane Cindy tomorrow/Friday. We had a power outage during a regular thunderstorm last week, so it's possible to happen again. Just sayin'.
