Osprey Publishing - military history books. Could be quite useful in the future.

Also: Imperial War Museum Online Image Collection - focus is 20th century, so no hussar uniforms there, but a lot of very good photos. Worth a look.

I'm on a hell of a roll for a Monday morning. I've probably mentioned Costume Classroom before, but if not, here it is again. They offer online costuming classes, some construction, some just history, all look quite impressive and the ones I've taken (16th Century Women's Costume, 16th Century Men's costume [link not available]) I've been quite pleased with.

Wow. WOW. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Hair Wars - bigger hair than all of Texas, frightening, yet wonderfully creative! My hairdresser had told me that he goes to hair shows similar to this, and my salon has a reputation for being on the cutting edge, but not like this!

And I'm so intimidated by the notion of even having to put my hair into a ponytail that I keep it cut short, this is mesmerizing....
