Kisia continues to do well, though she hates taking her medicine and I think it's affecting her appetite (she's been refusing her favorite, tuna in oil). We're trying to convince her NOT to pick a fight with Spice while she's still got stitches in her stomach, but this doesn't seem to be much of a deterrent!
Spice is as always - playing hard to get and laying on her back during the heat of the day. She's very excited that I'm sewing again, even though I'm working on the kitchen table so she can't jump up and "help"!
Speaking of which: one partlet down, one to go. I'm attempting to embroider this next one before cutting out, in the researched period-correct fashion :P Handkerchief linen crawls like hell though, and I'm looking for a way to stabilize it before I start.
Also going through old fash mag clips for disposal. About a year ago I collected everything I've accumulated over the past 10 years with the intent to scan it all. I've lately discovered that most of this is not worth saving, especially when libraries keep whole issues. So I'm going through and throwing out most of it. This is all part of my grand conspiracy to seize more shelf space ;)
