Feb. 8th, 2003 04:12 pmToday I went out to the (shudder) maul for the first time in months. I wanted to take care of a few things at once, and unfortunately the suburban covered shopping mall is the easiest place to do it.
For one, I succumbed to the need to invest in some (doG help me) thongs. I finally came to the conclusion that there are some things I want to wear where VPL cannot be excused by saying "it's too small/you're looking too closely". I tried on a few pair (over my regular undies) and found a few styles that don't have the uncomfortable "cleave me in twain" effect. I hope. Also picked up some cute boy-shorts in case the aforementioned end up being uncomfortable anyway.
Diesel and Sketchers have some very cute sneakers this season, but I behaved. I am well until I see green or purple old school styles, as these are two of the colors lacking from my sneaker wardrobe.
It is looking like Canada in the spring is a go. Details to follow later.
