Dec. 23rd, 2002 11:11 pmFinally got the fencing bag I ordered over 2 months ago - much bigger and sturdier (hopefully) than my current bag which was starting to shred. I put an ancient Alien Workshop decal of a grey alien (natch) on it to differentiate it from every other black fencing bag I'm liable to run into.
I am signed up to give blood the day after Christmas - I was very slack about giving to charities this year so I figure I ought to do something. I always think that I ought to be doing something for others Xmas Day - like serving at a soup kitchen, or visiting a nursing home, or something, but I know myself well enough to know that when push comes to shove, I won't drag myself out to do these things. So, giving blood the day after seems reasonable.
I get a half day tomorrow and D. and I are going to try to see "Two Towers" (crosses fingers). What I am looking forward to most in the holiday is rest and not having to remember the umpteen little everyday things that usually occupy my mind, if only because there is not much one can do on Christmas day.
L-phenylalanine seems to be offering energy minus the jitteryness of caffiene, but gives me a bit of cotton mouth - all the more reason to drink lots of water.
