I hate Fridays. Why can't they do the logical thing and go ahead and be the weekend already?

Spent most of today coding, listening to Art Bell/Democracy Now, and attempting to fit my brain securely back into my skull. Most of it is back in, but there is a void that troubles me....

Despite my irritation at the entire work atmosphere yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised by compliments on my work and news of a raise today (?!). So I guess it's not all bad.

I am bugging out of the Celtic Festival tomorrow on the grounds that I'll have a painfully overbooked weekend if I try and go to that, a friends' party, and the Art Deco Expo. I promised myself to the Expo before the Festival so it takes priority. As it is, I need to spend at least some time this weekend grocery shopping/laundering/Jiffy Lubing/etc.

Eyes still itch like crazy, but interestingly nothing is affecting my nose or throat.
