Stuff....Ordered a few necessities/fun stuff online. I could have taken care of most of this with a single trip to The Maul, but I simply couldn't bear the idea of a crowded shopping mall - I'd rather wait a few days and pay the shipping than deal with the parking insanity, etc.

Today - busy! Changed cat litters, conducted a massive cleaning/re-organization of the sewing area. Tried with D.'s help to copy some videos for my sister - the 2nd VCR is broken and we couldn't get it to feed to the computer for digitizing either, so this is something that will have to wait till later..

I finished the lacing holes for the corset yesterday and laced it up today; now all I have to do is try it on and cut of any excess lacing, and finish the lacing with an aiglet or similar.

My next project will almost definitely be the body block, but I may spend a few days catching up on reading before starting a new "project"; this should after all be fun, its not a race, and I don't want to burn myself out by "forcing" it.

Off to make some dinner now. All this running around + cold weather = I want to go to sleep, but I'll stay up a little later so I don't wake up at 3 in the morning.

Finished! Just finished sewing on the aiglet to finish the ravelling end of the lacing.

Even though it is a front lacer it is still HELL to get over my head to put it on - it felt like I was about to pull both arms out by the roots! D. will still have to act as "ladies' maid", but at least once its on I can lace it up myself.

Now to think of something to go under it. G. suggested a tux shirt, but I think I need a one piece thing - the front point of the stays goes down extremely low so any separate pants/skirt would be pressed down or in. Maybe a floor length shirt dress? Or maybe a plain cotton kimono of some sort...given my shape (stays push up but don't nip in - I still look like a solid cylinder, no waist AT ALL) it would look like an armored obi; but the shirt would look better with the style....just thinking out loud....

Another Scarlett moment - I will think about this tomorrow. Despite food I just did too much today and am tired (the melatonin an hour ago didn't hurt).

Currently reading "Deadly Feasts", sent by my dad who thought it might be of interest due to the fact that much of the prion research was done at my workplace, or by doctors/scientists affiliated with it. Interesting so far, well written too.
