Kisia came in here about an hour ago to tell me its time for me to feed her, play pointer with her, and then snug with her. Her internal clock said it was 10 pm even though the clock said 9, and my internal clock tends to agree with her. The sun setting at 5 pm was just terribly depressing and odd today. Some time with my lamp kept me awake long enough to finish some odds and ends on the Neverending Jacket Project - I'm at a standstill until I get out for buttons and trim, so maybe I'll start something else this week - like a partlet so I won't freeze next time I wear the Tudor.

At long last some of my books that I've ordered from Half.com and other independent sellers are getting through. Irritating but understandable. What is not understandable is the fact that junk mail has been getting through just fine. I bet the postal service could cut their workload in half if they could just shut down Publishers' Clearinghouse and similar mail-marketers for the duration. Or maybe permanently.

I'm trying to start the trend of exchanging a large dinner for a large lunch, at least on weekends - its easier to sleep on an empty stomach and saves me the irritation of having to do real cooking when I should really be sitting in front of my lamp.

This weeks evenings are incredibly (mostly) free (!). Maybe I'll get out to see "From Hell" in a lovely empty theater.

Now that the clock does read 10 I should probably go feed Their Majesties.
