anotheranonLittle to report of late - chewing away at statistics and application testing at work, spending most waking hours at home finishing the duster and engaging in historic costume scheming.
I've been perusing a fantastic book I ordered out of Sweden, "Lions of Fashion", featuring incredibly well preserved mens' garments from the 16th-18th centuries - one of the most ornate and opulent periods in Western male dress. I'm trying to convince D. that he really needs a navy doublet and "pumpkin pants" with elaborate gold embroidery, but he's not buying it. Yet. [insert diabolical laughter of an insane costumer here :P]
My skin itches like the devil and I'm trying to figure out what it is THIS time - detergent? Something I've eaten? Some damnable plant that is determined to pollinate despite the (unseasonably cold wet) weather trying to keep it down? Comfrey salve is my new friend :/
Off to bed, to wake up and do more of the same tomorrow - much more sewing, especially.
