D. very kindly dug my car out today. I still cannot go anywhere - our parking lot has been plowed multiple times but between more snow and people digging out their cars, it is impassable again. I am pretty sure I can get to work tomorrow, if a plow runs by tomorrow morning.

I took care of a lot of odds and ends - preparing dinners for the next few days, laundry, filing, and the new sewing project (see my other journal entries). It's rare I have this much uninterrupted time so I have taken advantage of it. I actually find myself rather tired!

In the interest of economizing I'm changing our cleaning service from once a month to once every two - I hate housework but if it's a gradual thing I think D. and I can keep the house nice.

Oh yeah, everything's closed. They closed the federal government relatively early yesterday, and all the local governments too. I think C. might be the only person in the area who has to go to work today, which kind of sucks.
