Good show. I was not disappointed - they do offer something more than just playing off of DAT.

First time in the District proper since The Events (I can't help but to refer to it that way; sort of like calling the Civil War "the recent unpleasantness" or similar), and I was a little nervous. It was somehow reassuring to see that the club was flying the flag on top of this huge radio(?) tower on its roof.

I soon managed to forget about that and enjoy the show. Though I don't go out often anymore, somehow the smell of stale tobacco smoke, sweat, and sour beer feels like home.

The sound was distorted but you could feel the bass, which is always nice.

Misc. notes: It was good to see D. dancing. He hasn't in awhile and he so clearly enjoys it.

It is possible to dance in New Rocks, no matter how unwieldy they look.

Earplugs are a good thing.

Ciagrette smoke stuck on your hair and clothes isnt.
