anotheranonCold and rainy all day - I had considered getting out to the Textile Museum but am very glad I didn't try. It was a perfect day to stay inside and draft slopers.
I took some liquid motivation (i.e. half-caf coffee) to make sure I didn't spend the day on the sofa and drafted it out, made a muslin, made corrections, and transferred it to foam board in around 3 hours. Now I have an up-to-date template to compare commercial patterns to. Tomorrow I hope to draft a new 16th century corset pattern.
I'm pleased I got something done today - anything done. My laziness for the past few days has been staggering - I've been lying on the sofa reading for the past couple of days and much of the past few weekends. And as D. points out, there is nothing wrong with reading but it galls me that I lack the energy to do much else.
