anotheranonThe N.E.P. crawls slowly along - the straps are finally in place, and I made some adjustments for fit/aesthetics. Hopefully (crosses fingers) tomorrow I'll be able to cut out/fit the outer straps. I am still trying to figure out where I can find the studs/rivets/whatever those metal round decorative things are that "hold" the straps in back and front. I've tried Michaels and G Street and am not finding something that is remotely "just so".
I did end up sneaking out today to a local used CD shop for some fiending - doing my best to get new music without feeding the RIAA. Picked up a few goodies but I find it rather unbelievable that this shop didn't have the "24 Hour Party People" soundtrack.
The cats have been bouncing off the walls at 3 days of open windows - they are stalking moths on the screens and are thrilled.
I have a searing headache from caffiene deprivation (? I guess) and have resisted feeding it - yay me, but tell that to my cranium. Running low on cocoa so may actually have to (shudder) GO OUT tomorrow.
