Local peeps - Renn Faire?

I don't know where you live, but I am JEALOUS that you have Renn Faire in October. That sounds heavenly!

I hate sweating through my outfit in July, and not being able to easily wear more fun layers.

My local faire (http://www.rennfest.com/) runs August-October, and in there there's a spectrum of weather. I'm trying to go late in the season because most of my gear is fairly warm; if it's 80F or over I don't bother to dress :/

Where is your faire, and what are your outfits? Any pix?

Colorado, which ranges from hot to brutally hot in June-July when our faire goes on.
And I need to take some pics of my dress! My mom sewed me a sleeveless overdress in a nice jacquard that laces up the front, which I wore over something light and also sleeveless this year, and did OK in the heat. I still need to get a winter underdress for it.

And it's just way more fun to wear the warmer stuff! It's nice that you have options as far as the weather is concerned.

I'll be out of town the weekend of the first, but Chris and I were planning on going back at least once more this year. I'll see what weekend he was thinking.
