pirate progress 2: what shall I do with a floppy cuff?

Even with interlining, the deep cuff is floppy and tends to roll down. I'm uncertain whether I want to tack it in place or leave it as is - the latter might lend extra flappiness if I ever perform the hand-waving Jack Sparrow Run:

Next: finish the insides, hem, and addition of 28 pewter buttons.

Fortunately I was able to kill the earworm with a hefty dose of good tunes on the stereo. ;-)
