I got my E rating today :) :)

For non fencers - the best comparison I can think of is that a rating is like a belt in martial arts, though you don't earn it through tests but depending on x place finish at a single competition of y minimum fencers of which z are rated - today I finished first of 6 unrated people.

In the long run this means little save that it affects how I'm seeded for future competitions, but I've been working at keeping my head and body together long enough to out think/maneuver through multiple 15 touch direct elimination bouts, so I still feel like a slightly bigger fish in a slightly smaller pond. I worked hard for this! I'll take it :)

Yahooo!!! and Congratulations!!! It may be, in the bigger scheme of fencing, a little step, but a step is still a step, regardless of size. Ya done good!
