At last! Photos of the Miyake

Another Pro: about the Droid - the camera kicks like a mule! Check out the detail on these photos of my Pleats Please consignment find:



The fabric is polyester so the heat-set pleats are permanent. During wear they stretch out a lot, which means though it's a "medium" it can comfortably fit a large. I was surprised to find that the laundering instructions prohibit dry cleaning - I'll probably hand wash cold.


This photo is darker, but that has more to do with the lighting than the camera. I pulled the elastic out of the waistband and put in a drawstring, a bit of which shows draped over the top. When I sit in the skirt the fabric forms stiff horizontal folds which look quite funny!

That outfit does look lovely ... easy to see why you were so happy to get it (of course we need to see a photo of it on you to get the full effect, hint, hint)

Incredible close-up detail too ... that is a great camera.
