anotheranonI caught up with some tv while folding 2 weeks of laundry:
Leverage: how I love Timothy Hutton and his ensemble casts! "I'm having....feelings....about pretzels". Nathan needs to stop hitting the sauce though, and Archie Goodwin should give him a comb.
True Blood: am I the only person on Team Alcide? I've not read the books with him in it but HBO's version seems like a nice guy in a bad situation. Reminds me a little of Jayne, with more brains and less grumpiness (and lamentably less chest hair - can't abear er, were, just be a were?)
Speaking of Firefly Warehouse 13's co-stars pushed all my geeky buttons this week :) Plus, H. G. Wells!

Date: 2010-07-19 12:10 am (UTC)One of the things I like about True Blood is that for the most part, they let their grown men, look like it, chest hair and all. I've only seen Alcide in photos but he does look like he'd be delightfully snuggy. (I liked him in the books, mostly. I hated that he couldn't get over his girlfriend before Sookie.)

Date: 2010-07-19 02:07 am (UTC)Not sure I agree with you re: the grown men part; most of the naked guys we've seen thus far are vampires and as such I suspect at least a little "manscaping" is going on, if not a full wax.
Alcide's ex seems like a piece of work, lemme tell ya - far cry from her previous role as the environmentalist artist on "The Middleman".
