random tense thought

My sister flew out yesterday for a vacation with her friends in England (envy! sort of).

I'm going to assume her flight was smooth and landed safely because I haven't heard otherwise.

I just get a little twinge at the idea of anyone I know being on a plane right now. I know its illogical. I'm working on it.
